The results see TOP GUN: MAVERICK overtaking blockbuster films including TITANIC (AU$57.7million), STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI (AU$58million), AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR (AU$62million) and THE LION KING (AU$64.1million). TOP GUN: MAVERICK also joins SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME (AU$81.1million) as the second film released post pandemic to enter the top 5 highest grossing films of all time in Australia.
