TOM CLANCY’S THE DIVISION FRANCHISE ANNOUNCES NEW CONTENT FOR THE DIVISION 2 AND UPDATES ON THE DIVISION RESURGENCE
In a series of panels at Gamescom over the weekend, new updates to The Division Franchise were announced including new and upcoming content for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 as well as updates on development for The Division Resurgence.
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2-
- New Season, The Pact– The next season kicks off Tuesday, 10 September. In The Pact, enemy factions True Sons, Outcasts and Hyenas have banded together, and players must uncover their motivation. With The Pact comes a new open-world activity, Retaliation. With Retaliation players will have access to an additional layer of progression through upgradeable modifiers. With the main themes of the Season being territory control and factions, The Pact introduces the new global modifier, “Divide and Conquer.”
- The Division 2: Survivors– This new experience is currently in development and brings a survival extraction experience to The Division 2. Much more than a remake of the Survival mode from the first game, we will continue to provide updates as we further develop and test The Division 2: Survivors.
The Division Resurgence–
- Players will step back into New York in this mobile title. Offering the same gameplay experience as The Division titles, Resurgence has been adapted to mobile playstyles and length of play including fully customisable controls as well as controller compatibility.
- Playtests will be starting back up in September with more opportunities to play the game early to follow.
