Three, two, one…Oz Comic-Con!! Australia’s favourite pop culture events blast into 2016 with a cool new look
Oz Comic-Con is kicking off 2016 with a new website – launching what is sure to be its most supersonic year yet.
Tickets to Oz Comic-Con Perth and Adelaide are on sale from today, so fans across WA and South Australia (and no doubt the rest of Australia) will be getting in early and counting down the days to the premiere pop culture event in Australia.
Kicking off the heavily anticipated guest announcements for 2016 is Jim Beaver, known for his role as the beloved father figure Bobby Singer in hit series Supernatural. Jim will be joined by an exciting range of guests from across the worlds of film, television, comics, publishing and cosplay. With major announcements planned for the coming weeks, fans should stay tuned to the Oz Comic-Con website and social media to be the first to know of the latest updates.
Now in its fifth year, Oz Comic-Con’s dedicated focus to the very best across the local and international pop culture sphere places it in a league of its own. 2016 will see the return of the show-stopping Australian Championships of Cosplay, as well as a huge range of new and exclusive event features such as: Australia’s best comic book artists, gaming and board game zones, behind-the-scenes industry workshops, amazing exhibitors, kid-friendly areas and much, much more.
Oz Comic-Con Perth will be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday April 2nd and Sunday April 3rd, and in Adelaide at the Adelaide Showgrounds on Saturday April 9th and Sunday April 10th.
