‘The Walking Dead’, ‘Buffy’ & ‘Charmed’ Stars Join Supanova Melbourne & Gold Coast
The zombie apocalypse is heading to Melbourne and Gold Coast this March, with The Walking Dead stars Ross Marquand and Cooper Andrews leading Supanova Comic Con & Gaming’s latest line-up announcements.
After becoming one of The Walking Dead’s most beloved cast members through his portrayal of Aaron, Marquand entered the MCU fold, taking up the mantle of Red Skull and playing an integral role in both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
Marquand isn’t the only Walking Dead star to make the jump to the big screen. Known for his role as Ezekiel’s righthand man, Jerry, in the AMC mega-hit, Andrews shone as Billy Batson’s foster father, Victor, in DC’s Shazam!.
From zombies to vampires, everyone’s favourite anti-hero James Marsters, a.k.a. Spike across cult hits Buffy and Angel, will make his return to Australia to give fans further insight into the Buffyverse, his extensive music career, recent role on Marvel’s Runaways and more.
Also signing on for Melbourne and Gold Coast is witch and Whitelighter dream team Holly Marie Combs and Brian Krause, who helped shape pop culture TV through their roles on Charmed.
They join previously announced March guests Miranda Otto (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, The Lord of the Rings), George Lazenby (On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Legit, Batman Beyond), Kevin Eastman (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator), Leah Clark (My Hero Academia, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, Fairy Tail), James O’Barr (The Crow creator) and Gaku Space (Overwatch) and more.
VIP and Supa-Q passes will go on sale on Tuesday, 4 February via Moshtix.
Be sure to keep an eye on Supanova in the coming weeks for more exciting Melbourne and Gold Coast announcements.
