After the song

Continuing the story of princess Gloria Cheng Epstein Takahara de la Garza Champio and her friends in a band that has some trouble when they can’t seem to play together without getting things wrong. There is a big battle of the bands coming up and the Queen wants to win but dragon keeps making mistakes. Will they be able to win the contest and still stay friends?

This story is a follow up to the song and book by Jonathan Coulton “The Princess Who Saved Herself” and what happens after when they end up being friends. It is a cute story and seems to fit with the song it was originally based on.

Although this one is aimed at younger readers, if you have kids or are buying for them it is still worth a look as there is an excellent message about friendship and tolerating other people’s foibles as that is what makes them who they are.

Well worth a look and an excellent addition to the collection if you like these sorts of stories.
