SUPER MARIO BROS. WONDER – NINTENDO SWITCH 2 EDITION + MEETUP IN BELLABEL PARK LAUNCHES TODAY
Exciting experiences and attractions are coming to the Flower Kingdom in Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park, launching exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 today.
Tucked away in a previously unexplored part of the Flower Kingdom, Bellabel Park offers a wealth of new ways to play and things to enjoy. All sorts of multiplayer fun await in Attraction Central, where up to four players*1 on the same console can discover 17 different co-operative and competitive attractions at the Local Multiplayer Plaza. Alternatively, players can visit the Game Room Plaza to play six different attractions online*2 with up to 12 players or eight over local wireless. The Toad Brigade has set up base in Camp Central as well, where up to four players can join the fun locally and take on dozens of special challenges together.
In addition to everything Bellabel Park has to offer, this Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Super Mario Bros. Wonder comes with enhanced graphics*3 and even more ways to enjoy the entire adventure. The Koopalings are here and ready to cause trouble. They’ve stolen the prized Bellabel Flowers, and it’s up to Mario and friends to chase them down and recover the treasures spread out across the Flower Kingdom. Plus, it’s now possible to play as Rosalina for any of the content available, and another player can join in the fun as Co-Star Luma, using button or mouse controls to fly around, collect coins and defeat enemies without taking damage.
Additionally, players who are new to Mario games or find things a little tough can enjoy the action at their own pace with the new Assist Mode. No matter who they choose to play as, Mario and friends will be protected from taking damage or falling into pits.
There is even more to enjoy in Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park, including the new Super Flower Pot power-up, new Dual Badges that combine the powers of two Badges, and mysteries to discover in Bellabel Park. With GameShare*4, up to four players can share the fun in the main adventure, take on Toad Brigade Training Camp challenges, or enjoy the fun of Attraction Central’s Local Multiplayer Plaza using just one copy of the game.
An upgrade pack for the game*5 is available for players that already own Super Mario Bros. Wonder for Nintendo Switch. By purchasing the upgrade pack on Nintendo Switch 2, players can access all the new features and game modes.
Launching alongside Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park are three new amiibo*6. Elephant Mario, Poplin & Prince Florian and Captain Toad are joining the fun.
Additionally, players can bring the loquacious blossom Talking Flower home in real life and add a little fun to their day by leaving it to speak freely or press the button to make it talk immediately. Talking Flower can be set to greet players when they wake up, send them to sleep with a smile. Plus, it will also pay attention to the time of day and temperature and won’t be shy about letting players know the details. Talking Flower is available on My Nintendo Store and select retailers.
