Supanova Brings Middle-earth, the Momoko-verse and More to the Gold Coast
Supanova Comic Con & Gaming touches down on the Gold Coast (11–12 April 2026) with a blockbuster guest line-up celebrating fantasy, film, television and anime across one massive weekend.
Across the Gold Coast event, fans can look forward to a formidable Middle-earth reunion as Graham McTavish and Stephen Hunter celebrate their shared legacy in The Hobbit Trilogy. McTavish’s commanding presence spans Outlander and The Witcher, while Hunter has journeyed into the MCU via Thor: Love and Thunder.
Rounding out the live-action line-up are Australian screen and Supanova favourites John Jarrat (Wolf Creek, What About Sal?, Love You Like That) and Lincoln Lewis (Home and Away, The Possessed, He Loves Me Not).
Joining this wave of announcements is internationally acclaimed comic artist Peach Momoko, whose credits include Heavy Metal, Marvel’s Ultimate X-Men, and her acclaimed “Momoko-verse” line of titles. Blending traditional watercolour with modern anime and manga aesthetics, Momoko has become one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary comics.
Voice talent is equally strong on the Gold Coast, with Neil Fanning delivering the unmistakable voice of Scooby-Doo from the live-action Scooby-Doo and Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed films bringing the legendary character to a new generation of cinema audiences.
Supanova also advises, with a heavy heart, that Lou Diamond Phillips is no longer able to attend the April 2026 events due to a new film project commitment. We appreciate his continued support and look forward to welcoming him at a future Supanova.
