‘Stranger Things’ Star Jamie Campbell Bower Brings The Upside Down, Down Under In April 2026

Things are about to get a whole lot stranger, Supa-Fans! Ahead of next week’s penultimate episodes of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, premiering on Boxing Day, Supanova Comic Con & Gaming has one last early Christmas present for fans. Bringing the Upside Down, Down Under, Supa-Star Jamie Campbell Bower has just been announced for Supanova’s 2026 stops on the Gold Coast (11-12 April 2026) and in Melbourne (18-19 April 2026)!
Stepping through the gate to make his first-ever appearance with the event, Bower quickly became a fan-favourite when he debuted in the fourth season of Netflix’s Emmy Award-winning hit. His chilling portrayal of Vecna, named for the iconic Dungeons & Dragons character, scored the actor a Critics Choice and MTV nomination for Best Villain, and sees him return as one of the most hotly anticipated inclusions in the series’ epic conclusion.
Otherwise known for his roles in Twilight, the Harry Potter franchise, The Mortal Instruments, and Sweeney Todd, Bower will appear alongside previously announced Supa-Stars Denise Richards, Harry Potter co-star Bonnie Wright, original Ghostbuster Ernie Hudson, Tulsa King’s Frank Grillo and Garrett Hedlund, Buffy fave James Marsters, Robbie Daymond of Critical Role(similarly inspired by Dungeons & Dragons), plus so many more.
From the pages of D&D to those of the country’s best comic creators, Supanova’s international artists Adi Granov and Humberto Ramos will now be joined by the likes of Jon Sommariva (Neverlanders), David Yardin (Venom), Mark Raats (Star Wars), Daniel Picciotto (Miles Morales: Spider-Man), Austen Mengler (Execution), Anthony Christou (Luminous Ages), Comics on Country’s Scott Wilson and Wolfgang Bylsma, as well as COMICS2MOVIES’ Shaun Keenan.

Day, Weekend, and strictly limited Supa-Q and VIP Supa-Star Passes are on sale now for next year’s Gold Coast and Melbourne events. Secure your Supanova tickets now, ahead of the release of Autographs and Photograph Tokens closer to April in 2026.
