Summary: Star Wars The Mandalorian The Art & Imagery is a true Collector's Edition!

4.5

Star art!

Bounty hunting is a complicated profession

The Mandalorian is love song to Star Wars fans and Disney, more so Jon Favreau (the new Emperor of this universe) should be commended for creating (in my opinion), the best spin-off from this universe since the three original films from George Lucas. Cue the Star Wars The Mandalorian The Art and the Imagery Collector’s Edition Volume One which is basically a magazine style behind the scenes look at the amazing art behind this hit TV series.

The almost 100-page book contains is split into 7 chapters that include;

  • The Mandalorian
  • The Child
  • Mandalorians on Nevarro
  • Worlds
  • Allies and Enemies
  • Creatures &
  • Battles

Besides the amazing imagery showcased in this book, I like how it mentions the artists behind the stunning almost photo-realistic paintings which makes flipping through this book a true Star Wars joy. Speaking of photo-realistic, there are also photos from the series that adds to the overall presentation of this must have book for fans, even that of Cara Dune. Another twist is the sometimes retro inspired illustrations, particularly the portrait posters such as  Greef Kargo or The Mandalorian himself with its subdued colours.

One issue with the Star Wars The Mandalorian The Art and the Imagery Collector’s Edition Volume One is the print quality that rather than most art books, the paper quality is a little to be desired due to its magazine quality. Nonetheless, it’s still an amazing book that celebrates this Star Wars series perfectly.

Final Thoughts?

If you need your Mandalorian fix, then Star Wars The Mandalorian The Art & Imagery is indeed that book you’re looking for.
