Star Wars: Doctor Aphra #5 (2020) Review Tim Chuma

Summary: The stuff Dr Aphra pulls is a bit much even for this character. Why do people keep hanging out with her at all?

Dr Aphra and her party have gotten themselves captured by Rogen Tagge who surprises them with something they did not expect. As usual Dr Aphra has a trick or two in her yet and causes much mayhem.

The outcome of this one just seems a little too on the nose for my liking. Not really one of the better ones in this series but still worth it if you are following the storyline. Even for Dr Aphra’s character the things she does in this do seem outlandish, also the way the other people she is with 100% accept her actions and keep going along with her.

This story also serves as a good end point for the current story as there is another big-bad introduced so the adventure can continue.

I would recommend this one if you have already been following the story, but everyone else maybe wait until the next issue or just go back to the start of this storyline and read them all.
