VADER KICKS ARSE!

The giant beast attacks and Vader is not in the mood to play games. He cuts a swathes through his opponents on the way to the tomb of Padme.

Much more action in this one and only a couple of quips from ZED-6-7. Those still loyal to Queen Amidala call themselves the Amidalians and have unfinished business along with some people from Darth Vader’s past he never expected to see again.

Some may argue that this entire story is retroactive continuity given it takes place between Empire and Jedi, but it if it is still good I do not care. Good fiction call fill in gaps of the story and add more to an established character. The big movies of the series have a certain mood and tempo that would not suit this sort of story. I have not seen all of the Clone Wars series so I do not know what goes on in it but there are a lot of smaller stories that make up a big universe and this is certainly one of them.

Palapatine knows Darth is going off on these reckless adventures and lets him as it suits his own ends. Darth has been left on a planet in the past to think on his own actions when he disobeyed orders.

It is a pity that something like this does not have its own animated series or short as it would work well. People seemed to like the more active Darth Vader in Rogue One and there are no limits on what he can do in these stories in terms of fighting big beasties or taking on heaps of people at once in a battle.

Final Thoughts?

An excellent story and series and well worth getting if you have the chance. I will definitely try to pick up the collection of this series when it finally comes out.
