Go Valance!

Things are heating up and Valance finally gets some answers as to why the mission to Corellia went south many years ago. He does not get to enjoy the knowledge as someone from his past turns up right after he finds out.

I was looking forward to the continuation of this story and was a bit annoyed as they seemed to have skipped an issue as we are now at the fourth entry and the third was never sent out for review. This also happened with Dr Aphra for some reason but in this case I would want to go back and see what happened in that issue as that is how good the story is.

This is my favourite Star Wars story in terms of action apart from the recent Vader stand-alone series. Valance’s face seems to be getting more and more destroyed each time we see him and he hardly cares.

There are some new characters in this episode, but you can’t really expect them to live that long in the context of this story. Bounty hunters do all the jobs other people do not want to bother themselves with so are on no one’s side.

Some excellent art and character designs here and because the characters go all over and kill new and interesting people there is always something cool to look at and fight with.

I would definitely recommend this if you are a fan of Star Wars and action and you can dip in and out of this one without having to follow the story too closely.
