Summary: If you can get over this story not having the denency to end when it is the perfect time to it is alright I suppose. Impact of Darth Vader reduces if they are using him too much in these stories.

C'mon man!

Valance finally throws down with Darth Vader after finding he is being used by the Empire and what they were holding against him was for naught as they killed his loved ones any way. T’Onga and her crew decide to rescue him any way even though they should have just cut their losses at this point and left them.

Like Valance himself this series just can’t die. Come on, this would have been the perfect place to end it as it served its purpose during War of the Bounty Hunters and now it seems to being dragged out for no good reason. Certainly the Hidden Empire storyline is not worth keeping it going.

Darth Vader has less of an impact if you see him too much and reading this not long after reading the last Hidden Empire where he also fights a group trying to kill him reduces its impact somewhat. Valance has been fighting Vader even before this series and does not even seem to fear death at this point.

While I am disappointed that this series didn’t choose to end at this point I suppose I will keep following the story it at least seems to have some consistency.
