Split Fiction Out Now on Nintendo Switch 2!

The wait is over…Hazelight Studios and EA’s explosive co-op adventure, Split Fiction, is now available on Nintendo Switch 2 as a launch title for $49.99!

On the newly released Nintendo Switch 2, players can now take one of the highest-rated games of 2025 on the go and connect with co-op partners via GameShare and GameChat to dive into a genre-jumping, unforgettable journey.

GameShare will enable Nintendo Switch 2 owners to invite another player over a local wireless connection using just one copy of the game, even to original Nintendo Switch users. GameChat will also allow players to easily communicate and collaborate online by using the system’s built-in microphone and connecting the Nintendo Switch 2 Camera or USB camera to their system for live video.

With Hazelight Studios’ signature Friend’s Pass feature, players can have a friend join them online even if that friend doesn’t own a copy of the game and crossplay functionality allows players to play together regardless of their system with an EA account. In Split Fiction, players take on the roles of protagonists Mio and Zoe, two authors working together to escape their own sci-fi and fantasy worlds by leaping through a variety of innovative gameplay mechanics and dazzling environments at every turn.
