Skybound Games Partner exclusively with Five Star Games for Video Game Distribution in ANZ

Sydney Australia – 2nd July 2018 Five Star Games are excited to announce their newly formed partnership with Skybound Games, a division of Skybound Entertainment (The Walking Dead, Outcast, Invincible) for the Australian and New Zealand distribution rights for their exciting portfolio of gaming titles. This includes upcoming releases The Long Dark and Slime Rancher.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Skybound Games as their exclusive distribution partner in ANZ,” said Darren Macbeth, Managing Director, Five Star Games. “We are looking forward to working with Skybound Games to grow their expanding portfolio of games.”

Darren and his team have a wealth of experience in the ANZ markets covering both physical and digital channels and we are delighted to have the opportunity of working with them”, offered Mark Stanger, General Manager, Skybound Games EMEA.

Five Star Games will begin working directly with Skybound Games to expand the company’s overall reach in the Australian market, beginning with Skybound Games’ first releases, apocalyptic-survival adventure The Long Dark, developed by Hinterland, and first-person slime wrangling experience Slime Rancher, developed by Monomi Park. The Long Dark and Slime Rancher will release in retail stores on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in September.

The Long Dark is a thoughtful, exploration-survival experience that challenges solo players to think for themselves as they explore an expansive frozen wilderness in the aftermath of a geomagnetic disaster. The game features both a massive open-world survival sandbox, as well as an episodic narrative experience.
