THE SETTLERS® ONLINE RETURNS WITH ITS ANNUAL CHRISTMAS EVENT
Sydney, Australia – December 11, 2014 – Today, Ubisoft® and Blue Byte® announced the kick-off of the Christmas event for The Settlers® Online. Starting today players will experience the holidays on their islands with snowfall, decorations and the most massive Christmas tree ever seen in the game.
In this winter wonderland players will step in Santa’s shoes in the new adventure, Spirit of Christmas. Players will help cheer up children and frightened Settlers by producing buffs such as Pony Rides or Toys to comfort the Settlers and brighten their huts with festive decorations. Additional buff recipes can be unlocked in the Provision House.
Presents, the event resource, can be collected to trade in exchange for special items. Players will also want to refer to the Christmas calendar, which will help them through the entire event by giving them special rewards and requests they can fulfil.
Last but not least, the 6th building upgrade for silos will be provided with the event.
