Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Takes over Xbox Wire – Check out the Story So Far on YouTube

On May 21, Senua returns in a brutal saga of survival in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II. To help celebrate the launch of this highly anticipated sequel, Xbox Wire has partnered with Ninja Theory for a full site takeover, with in-depth features on Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II slated to publish every day leading up to launch next Tuesday.

Showcasing Ninja Theory’s commitment to crafting life-changing art with game-changing tech, each Xbox Wire feature story will focus on a different element of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II and explore the ways the studio has elevated Senua’s story for this sequel. Starting today with a feature on Senua herself, players can expect to learn more on the following:

  • Thursday, May 16: How Ninja Theory Strives to Make Senua The Most Human Character in Gaming
  • Friday, May 17: Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II – How Performance Capture and Real-World Stunts Created Next-Level Combat
  • Saturday, May 18: Headphones Required – Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II’s Binaural Audio Is Like Nothing You’ve Ever Heard
  • Tuesday, May 21: The Wanderers – The Team Behind Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II’s Incredible Landscapes

Alongside today’s story, Ninja Theory have released a new video titled Hellblade: The Story So Far.’ This video features a stylised summary of the events of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice in the style of 10th century Icelandic carvings, giving players a refresher on Senua’s journey up to the beginning of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II.
