Season of the Splicer hacks its way into Destiny 2
Today Bungie have released Season of the Splicer. Players will join together to hack the Vex Network from the inside and save the Last City from endless night. Season of the Splicer will run until August 25th (AEST).
Guardians will team up with Mithrax, Kell of the House of Light, to learn the ways of a Sacred Splicer to take down the simulation and restore sunlight to humanity’s last bastion and hope.
Guardians will hack the Vex simulation in six-player matchmade activity Override, and run the weekly pinnacle mission Expunge. On May 23rd at 3AM (AEST), Guardians will be able to infiltrate the iconic Vault of Glass (VoG) raid to find Atheon, Time’s Conflux.
Armor Synthesis, free for all players, brings transmog to Destiny by unlocking the ultimate endgame: Fashion. Season Pass owners will also get immediate access to the Exotic Stasis Sidearm Cryosthesia 77K, Season-specific Universal Ornaments, XP boosts, and more.
Season of the Splicer will run until August 25th (AEST).
