realme, the fastest growing smartphone brand, held the global online launch event, “Speed of the Future,” to debut its latest AIoT product strategy and  5G plans for 2020.

realme AIoT devices

During the launch, realme announced its AIoT 1+1 strategy: smartphone + AIoT.  Focusing on AIoT, realme plans to create a complete AIoT ecosystem with various tech lifestyle gadgets. This strategy caters to the lifestyles of young tech trendsetters, equipping them with premium hardware and software experiences.

realme’s AIoT ecosystem will focus on personal, home and travel experiences, building a 3 in 1 UNI smart lifestyle for users. With this approach, realme aims to maintain its rapid growth to become the fastest-growing AIoT brand globally.

realme Link

Enhancing the experience of realme UNI Smart AIoT, realme will launch its official APP named realme Link to help users manage AIoT products in the easiest and most convenient way possible.

This will connect more AIoT devices such as smart bands, smart bluetooth earphones, smartwatches and smart speakers, and enable users to easily manage all these devices via one platform that is closely integrated with AI to form realme’s own AIoT ecosystem.

realme’s  5G rollout

realme will launch a number of 5G smartphones globally throughout 2020 to build a complete 5G product line covering all price segments. realme has developed a very close tie with cooperative partners such as operators, manufacturers of the Internet companies and application developers to jointly promote the global development of 5G and explore the 5G ecosystem.

Commenting on 5G launch plans, Andy Yang, Managing Director of realme Australia, says:  “We believe that 5G should be accessible to all consumers across all price points. Throughout 2020, it’s our priority to ensure that this is made possible for our customers globally. We are excited to explore the possibilities that 5G provides, and will focus on continuously creating highly competitive smartphone products that fulfill our ‘Dare to Leap’ brand concept.”

Since being founded in 2018, realme has quickly grown in popularity and now ranks in the top 7 in terms of global smartphone shipments.

In 2019, realme’s global smartphone shipments exceeded 25 million with a year-on-year growth rate of 808%, making it the fastest-growing smartphone brand in the world.
