PlayStation Plus in September | Destiny 2 and God Of War III Remastered

PlayStation Australia has today revealed the line-up of PlayStation Plus monthly games for September! This month’s roster of PS Plus monthly games features two critically acclaimed PS4 titles; Destiny 2 and God of War III Remastered.

Destiny 2: (Metacritic 85)                                              

It’s been just shy of year since Bungie’s fantastic follow-up to sci-fi shooter Destiny hit PlayStation 4 and, as the first anniversary rolls around, we’re very excited to announce that Destiny 2 is joining PlayStation Plus today.

Humanity’s last safe city has fallen to an overwhelming invasion force, led by Ghaul, the imposing commander of the brutal Red Legion. He has stripped the city’s Guardians of their power and forced the survivors to flee. You will venture to mysterious, unexplored worlds of our solar system to discover an arsenal of weapons and devastating new combat abilities. To defeat the Red Legion and confront Ghaul, you must reunite humanity’s scattered heroes, stand together, and fight back to reclaim the home land.

God of War III Remastered: (Metacritic 81)

Take on the fearless role of Kratos, the ex-Spartan warrior, as he unleashes chaos on the gods who have betrayed him. Rise from the depths of Hades to the heights of Mount Olympus in a final bid for bloody vengeance. Set in the fantastic realm of Greek mythology, God of War III Remastered brings the critically acclaimed PS3 adventure roaring into life and on to PlayStation 4.

God of War III: Remastered will be available to download from 4th September.

As a reminder, the below games are still included as a bonus to PS Plus members until the dates listed below:

  • PS VR compatible title Here They Liewill be available in PS Plus from 7th August to 2nd October
  • Playlink title Knowledge is Powerwill be available in PS Plus from 7th August to 6th November

PlayStation Plus members will also have access to PS3 title Another World – 20th Anniversary Edition and Qube Directors Cut, and PS Vita titles Foul Play and Sparkle 2.
