Peppa’s Summer Holiday Book Review
Summary: Peppa’s Summer Holiday is another well written and illustrated book that celebrates the holiday with friends!
Peppa can’t wait to go in the swimming pool with her pink flamingo inflatable! There’s plenty to do on holiday and maybe she’ll make some new friends while she’s there . . .?
This oversize book from Ladybug Books is about Peppa and her family going on a wonder holiday as she joyfully proclaims this at the last day of play group. Needless to say, all her friends will be going on holiday such Suzie Sheep and Candy Cat, so EVERYONE is excited. That night, Peppa’s family is preparing for their trip as they pack their suitcases with Mummy Pig definitely over packing!
The next day, Peppa, George, Daddy Pig and Mummy Pig arrive at the airport as they board their plane which takes them to a summer paradise filled with palm trees and even their own swimming pool. Unbeknown to Peppa, she meets her friends Edmund Elephant, Emily Elephant, Rebecca Rabbit and Richard Rabbit as they start to explore their holiday destination together, all while meeting even more friends such as Zoe Zebra.
The book ends with Peppa holidaying with almost all her friends from school who have a fantastic time together before they board another airplane but more importantly, everyone had the best time of their lives.
Like other Peppa books, it is well written and beautifully illustrated that helps bring this fun story to life (almost like the TV series) about our favourite little piglet and her large supporting cast.
Definitely one for the younger Peppa fan!
