Once Upon a Time in the Weird West – Hard West 2 is coming to consoles

Klabater, Good Shepherd Entertainment, and Ice Code Games are excited to announce that Hard West 2, the tactical strategy game set in a dark and supernatural vision of the Wild West, is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The game blends turn-based strategy and a unique Weird West world where nothing is as it seems.

Hard West 2 takes players deep into the ruthless badlands, where guns, demons, and dark legends collide. The story follows Gin Carter, a notorious outlaw who embarks on a heist to rob the mysterious Ghost Train. But once you board the train, it’s not gold you want to pursue – it’s your own salvation.

Hard West 2 focuses on tactical, turn-based combat where players command a posse of gunslingers, each with unique abilities ready to be unlocked by building poker hands. Chain your companions’ actions together using Bravado, a core mechanic of the combat system, which rewards you with additional action points after taking down foes, enabling spectacular multi-kill sequences and dynamic battle strategies.

However, commanding a group of outlaws and witches is not an easy task, and it’s your job to become their trustworthy leader. Merciless wastelands often force brutal choices – make the right one and survive in this cruel world, becoming stronger than before, but remember – choosing poorly leads to the gruesome consequences you will have to learn to live with.

● Show your Bravado – Kill. Replenish. Repeat. Unleash your Bravado to reset your Action Points and link devastating moves into a seamless flow of destruction.

● Assemble your posse – meet new characters and join forces with them. Unearth mysterious playing cards to build your posse’s poker hand and upgrade their unique abilities.

● Be the leader – make meaningful decisions, but be careful of the consequences. The right choices lead to more Loyalty Points and new skills for those closest to you, but choosing poorly will test their commitment to your cause.
