Now Live: – Battlefield 2042 – Season 1: Zero Hour
Today marks the launch of Battlefield™ 2042’s first season of post-launch content, Zero Hour. Zero Hour features a new map, a new Specialist, and game-changing additions to the player’s arsenal of weapons and gadgets.
These core content additions are freely available to all players as part of Battlefield 2042’s new Battle Pass. Additional cosmetic items – including legendary skins and melee takedowns – are earnable through a Premium version of the Battle Pass.
In Zero Hour, players can head to the Canadian Rockies and traverse extreme vertical terrain as they engage foes in the new Exposure map. Vehicle killer Ewelina Lis also joins Battlefield 2042 as the game’s newest Specialist, skilled at tracking vehicles on the air and land, and bringing them down with remote-controlled missiles.
Zero Hour adds a variety of new items for players of all play styles, including the gunships RAH-68 Huron and YG-99 Hannibal, as well as the Ghostmaker R10 Crossbow, the mid-range BSV-M Marksman Rifle and the opportunity-making Smoke Grenade Launcher.

All the new content arriving with Zero Hour comes in conjunction with a continuation of fixes and improvements to Battlefield 2042, targeting stability, gameplay balance, gunplay, vehicle handling, performance, and more – as outlined, alongside the pillars of our long-term support, in our recent Development Update.
Battlefield 2042 is available on retail and digital storefronts for Xbox® One, PlayStation®4, and PC, and on Xbox® Series X and S and PlayStation®5, with Dual Entitlement included in all current-gen editions.
