Summary: I could not work out what was going on or why we should care about these characters. Hopefully they sort things out more in later issues.

Eh?

Set at some point in the future Mr Sinister unleashes his assassins The Legion of the Night who promptly turn on him at the direction of another more powerful entity Mother Righteous. The mutants are a mix of Nightcrawlers DNA and other mutants.

This did at least look like an interesting concept but it is hard to work out who is who at this point or if any of the characters are meant to be “good” at all or what this story is serving at all. It does not seem to be connected to any other plotline and does not seem to be part of any of the multiverse stories that have been about.

Maybe this one will work itself out eventually but at the moment I cannot really recommend this at doesn’t do itself any favours and there is not really that much to grab onto at the moment.
