MULAN 2125 Opens the ARK Today on Meta Quest
MULAN 2125, the first AAA-quality sit-down XR series from Well-Link Tech, is available today on Meta Quest as a free download with in-app episode purchases. Nominated for the Immersive Competition of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, the project brings a continuous, episode-driven narrative to consumer headsets following a successful location-based showcase in Asia. Apple Vision Pro support is planned for the near future.
Built for long-form storytelling in VR, MULAN 2125 departs from short, standalone pieces and unfolds across chapters that carry tension and emotion forward from episode to episode. The series blends single-eye 4K imagery in 180° panoramic projection and immersive audio to deliver film-grade presentation inside a comfort-oriented, seated experience. Recent festival showings include Venice Immersive and the Silk Road International Film Festival.
A century after a green comet scarred the skies, Earth bears the residue of Muk, a living substance that heals or harms depending on the hands that wield it. Ant City clings to survival behind a failing shield while the PAC prepares a decisive strike from a sea fortress. On the ARK, a refitted warship with a towering repair mecha, an eighteen-year-old named MULAN searches steel corridors and hidden service shafts for her father, guided by the drone MUV-I and a protocol older than the ship itself. Each corridor hums. Each bulkhead remembers. The closer she gets, the more Muk answers in her blood.
The experience favors presence over spectacle, letting small human gestures sit beside machinery and war. Voices roll and recede while the horizon opens in 180°. In one room, a low light catches dust and breath. In the next, alarms flood the deck and the hull trembles. The camera does not drag you by the hand. It surrounds you, holds you there, and lets the world breathe until you feel the ARK beneath your feet and the weight of choice at your shoulder.
Episodes build like chapters in a novel. Betrayal sharpens into purpose. Awakening hardens into resolve. When the credits pause and the world settles, it is not an ending, only the next step waiting. This is VR paced for story, designed for comfort, and tuned for clarity so the craft can disappear and the world can stay.
Every layer is produced to film standards, combining top-tier CG art and visual effects with choreographed motion and nuanced performances, presented in single-eye 4K with immersive audio to preserve both scale and intimacy. The goal is not a parade of tricks, but a world that feels coherent from the flicker of an eye to the sweep of a battlefield.
