Get Ready For Chaos Cubed on June 16
Mojang Studios shared details about Chaos Cubed, the next Minecraft game drop coming on June 16. The update introduces sulfur caves, sulfur springs, sulfur pools, sulfur spikes, sulfur and cinnabar block sets, and [of course] the sulfur cube.
The sulfur cube brings new physics-driven play to Minecraft, with different movement behaviors depending on what it absorbs. Players will be able to experiment with bouncy, sliding, fast-moving, and slow-moving variants as they discover new ways to build, play, and create chaos.
An early look at our upcoming game drop
Minecraft LIVE also offered a sneak peek at the first features from the third game drop of 2026, coming this fall. The update is centered on exploration, adventure, and playing together with friends.
