Min Woo Lee Unveiled as The Replacer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7
The countdown is officially on until the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 (BO7). This year, the role of The Replacer has been taken to new heights (literally).
Overnight, a GIANT statue of Australian Golfing superstar Min Woo Lee appeared towering above Pitt Street Mall in Sydney’s CBD, stopping locals in their tracks on their morning commute. The larger-than-life monument marks the official announcement of Min Woo Lee’s exciting new role as the Aussie Replacer.
Min Woo Lee is back on home soil to answer his call of duty ahead of the Black Ops 7 Launch. This morning, Min Woo addressed VIP guests with a press conference to officially declare 14 November Replacer Day and open the Black Ops 7 Experience for fans across Sydney.
As The Aussie Replacer, Min Woo will be subbing in for everyday Australians and replacing them in their everyday jobs, chores and errands so they can spend as much time as possible playing the new game with their mates.
“I’m so excited to be back in Aus to step up as The Aussie Replacer. I’m a huge fan of Call of Duty, and it’s an honour to play a role in this monumental moment in the iconic Black Ops series,” said Min Woo Lee.
“They call me The Chef for a reason, and when I’m playing Call of Duty, I’m always cooking.” continued Lee.
To mark the occasion, Miles Leslie, Associate Creative Director at Treyarch, has flown in from California to meet fans of the game.
“We can’t wait for fans to jump into Black Ops 7. This is the biggest Black Ops ever and most ambitious game we’ve ever made, with a narrative that builds on the iconic Black Ops storyline. Across an innovative Co-Op Campaign, signature Multiplayer featuring next-level omnimovement and the biggest round-based- Zombies map ever, there’s something for everyone.” said Leslie.
To celebrate the launch, Sydneysiders will have the chance to test their own skills and win major prizes at the Black Ops 7 Experience in Pitt Street Mall this weekend between Friday 7 November and Sunday 9 November.
