‘Midnight Murder Club’ Sets August 15 Release, Introduces Devious New Wildcards

Reload your revolver and recharge your flashlight, the manor is waiting! Midnight Murder Club is rolling out an update adding a new level of chaotic activity to the hide-seek-and-shoot party game for friends. The early access period comes to a close on Friday, 15 August 2025 (AEST), when the game officially launches on PlayStation 5 and PC! Check out the new launch date trailer here.

Also, starting today, Midnight Murder Club hosts can deploy a new set in the game’s “Wildcards” mode adding several new devious ways to stop friends in their tracks!

The latest update introduces the following new Wildcards:

Flameskull: Fly this flaming missile through the mansion until it ends in a fiery explosion.
Falling Chandelier: Set a trap in the mansion, falling onto the heads of unsuspecting club members below.
All in the Chamber: Fire every bullet at once, turning your revolver into a one-handed shotgun.
Shrink Shot: Getting shot makes your character smaller!
Gift from the Grave: After dying, respawn with a gift to give you an edge.
Knives Only: Your gun only shoots blanks. Toys and knives are the only way to get kills!
Growing Glow Trails: Every kill grows your glow trail, making you an easier target.
Pinged to Death: Kills lead to pings in the mansion, revealing player locations.
Party Room: One random room of the mansion adds a disco ball and music. Perfect to set the mood for a shootout!
Sound Blast Jazz Club: Jazz up your gunshots by replacing them with musical instruments.
