Meet the new Moto G4 Plus: Get more of what matters most

Sydney, Australia – 08 July 2016: When it comes to smartphones, sometimes we feel let down. The things that matter most — like taking great photos at our kids’ footy games, video chatting with mum or having all-day battery life — simply don’t live up to our expectations.

It shouldn’t be this way. Smartphones should focus on technology that prioritises the things people really care about.

That’s how we designed the next generation of our best-selling smartphone, Moto G4 Plus, packed with meaningful technology so you never have to miss what matters most to you.

Moto G4 Plus: Never miss a photo worth sharing.

Moto G4 Plus leads with features we know matter to people. One of the biggest improvements is the camera. There’s nothing worse than missing a moment. Now you won’t. Moto G4 Plus’ 16MP camera with two additional rapid focus technologies, laser focus and phase detect autofocus, work quickly so you always nab sharp, clear pictures, day and night.

OmniVision’s high performance PureCel®Plus image sensors can be found in the new Moto G4 Plus, offering one of the best-in-class pixel performances to capture extraordinarily detailed images, even in challenging lighting conditions. OmniVision PureCel®Plus optical sensor technology delivers great performance – boost low light capability and better colour noise performance, with ultra-low power consumption.

DxOMark, the trusted industry standard for camera and lens image quality ratings, has rated the Moto G Plus photo quality among the top smartphone cameras.^

Tired of forgetting your passwords or fumbling with your phone to turn it on? Don’t worry about it. With a fingerprint reader, a touch is all you need to instantly wake up your phone. You can even use it to authorise purchases on the Google Play StoreTM.

Never miss what matters from the ones you love.

The thinner fourth-generation Moto G4 Plus has a vivid 5.5” full HD display, and its 3000 mAh battery and blazing-fast octacore processor will get you through afternoon video calls with family and into the evening out with friends.* And when you finally need a battery boost, TurboPower™ gives you six hours of power in just 15 minutes.**

Availability

The Moto G4 Plus will be available for purchase in 16GB and 32GB variants. Harvey Norman, The Good Guys and Officeworks will stock the 16GB version in black from 9th July, while both the 16GB and 32GB versions will be available in black and white from www.motorola.com.au from 15th July.
