The Logitech G325 LIGHTSPEED, released in February 2026 provides an affordable option for users looking at a gaming and lifestyle headset. With its almost Spartan-like aesthetics (available black, white & lilac), it definitely levels up its audio technology compared to its predecessors that might be your next go-to headset. And at just 212g, the G325 is quite lightweight compared to its overall size that also puts comfort at the forefront and like other recent headsets from Logitech, this audio peripheral is constructed with at least 22% post-consumer recycled plastic and is officially certified carbon neutral.

Unboxing
As you can see from the above and below images, the headset looks great and although it is a little plastic, it is super comfortable with good placement of controls and inputs.
The internal hardware provides a meaningful jump in quality with 24-bit game-ready audio. This ensures high-fidelity sound with a strong bass response that feels immersive without being overwhelming. The dual-beamforming microphones are integrated into the earcups, eliminating the need for a physical boom arm. To compensate for the distance from the mouth, Logitech has included AI-powered noise reduction, which effectively filters out ambient distractions like mechanical keyboard clicks and fan hum. While it lacks the studio precision of professional-grade mics, it is more than sufficient for clear communication in Discord or on mobile calls.
In terms of connectivity, the G325 is a purely wireless device that offers two primary modes of connection. LIGHTSPEED Wireless provides a lag-free, pro-grade connection via a USB dongle with an impressive 30-metre range, while Bluetooth 5.2 allows for seamless pairing with mobile devices, tablets and handhelds. It is important to note that while a USB-C cable is included, it is used strictly for charging and does not support wired audio. The battery life is rated at 24+ hours and the headset integrates fully with Logitech G HUB on PC and a dedicated mobile app, allowing users to customise a 10-band EQ and manage AI mic settings on the fly.
With that said, games such as World of Warcraft, Resident Evil Requiem and Diablo IV sounded good on the PC with the headset creating an immersive audio bubble. Additionally, games such as Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza on the Nintendo Switch 2 performed equally as well with strong levels, good bass and no distortion whatsoever. Listening to music via the smartphone or streaming Netlifx again produced crisp clear audio.
Final Thoughts
The headset is highly flexible, supporting PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck. While it can connect to Xbox via Bluetooth, the LIGHTSPEED dongle is not natively compatible with Xbox consoles. Priced at $199.95 AUD, the G325 is a mid-range option for users which delivers premium features like 24-bit audio and AI noise cancellation at a price point that undercuts most high-end wireless competitors while maintaining a style you wouldn’t be embarrassed to wear in public.
