Logitech G Partners with Sony to Celebrate Gamers Ahead of Gran Turismo Movie Launch
Logitech G, the leading gaming peripherals provider, is excited to announce its collaboration with Sony Pictures in anticipation of the highly awaited Gran Turismo blockbuster launch on 10 August 2023. Recognising the profound connection between the movie’s narrative and gaming enthusiasts, Logitech G is launching an integrated marketing campaign to honour gamers and their ultimate need for speed.
The campaign’s diverse components aim to engage gaming enthusiasts and create an immersive experience leading up to the movie launch. Partnering with the cinematic heavyweight, Val Morgan, Logitech G will bring cinema advertising experiences before Grand Turismo screenings to the East Coast of Australia and New Zealand.

Accompanying the large scale activation, Logitech G is hosting a competition with two lucky winners taking home $6K worth of Logitech G and Sony gear. The Ultimate Racing Sim Rig Competition is set to ignite the competitive spirit among gamers in Australia and New Zealand, and to run from 31 July until 25 September 2023.
Participants can enter the contest by submitting a compelling entry through a dedicated landing page. To enhance entrant’s chances, Logitech has implemented a redemption strategy, offering 10 bonus entries by purchasing select Logitech G racing wheels during the campaign period, with additional rewards for uploading proof of purchase of Gran Turismo The Movie tickets.
It wouldn’t be a 360° campaign without retailers, therefore leading Logitech stockists such as Harvey Norman, JB-HiFi, The Gamesmen and EB Games are all on board for the activation, offering sales on the fan’s favourite virtual racing simulator, Logitech G923 TRUEFORCE Racing wheel during the campaign duration.
Keeping to the core audience of gamers and tech enthusiasts, Logitech G forged paid media partnerships with FANDOM, the world’s largest entertainment and gaming fan platform, and INVERSE, a platform that explores the cultural impact of gaming from a scientific perspective, adding an extended dimension to the campaign.
To further campaign reach, Logitech G’s social accounts will serve as the hub for amplifying assets from the Ultimate Racing Sim Rig Competition, directing eager participants to the competition landing page and act as a host to more Gran Turismo competitions.
