LEAD THE CHALLENGE AND TAKE YOUR VICTORY IN MONSTER JAM SHOWDOWN

With a rundown of competitions combining speed and skills, the latest Monster Jam™ Showdown trailer released by Milestone and Feld Motor Sports. presents plenty of options for players to prove themselves.

A variety of game modes will allow fans to tear up the dirt and push their favourite 12,000-pound Monster Jam™ trucks to the limit, both in single-player and split-screen. Just like true Monster Jam drivers, players will compete in stadiums inspired by real-life venues, experiencing official Freestyle contests with a limited time to accumulate as many points as possible and Head-to-Head races on track layouts formed inside the stadiums. Stadiums will also host Best Trick, which are special events that require performing specific stunts shown on screen. This is only one of the original game modes designed by Milestone to add an extra layer of challenge. Monster Jam Showdown™ will also take the battle to the American wilderness with Circuit Racing and Figure 8, two no-holds-barred racing game modes. Featuring huge jumps to land over opponents, strategic shortcuts, drifting, and destructible objects to power up the boost, these races will offer lots of creative opportunities to triumph over a crowded field of rivals.

Moreover, Extreme Freestyle and Extreme Head-to-Head are offline-only events taking place in the untamed nature of Alaska, Colorado, and Death Valley to pose a true challenge for those who want to prove themselves. The first one will allow players to interact with bigger ramps, obstacles, and themed destructible objects to learn the most insane manoeuvres and become true stunt masters, whereas the latter will grant thrilling one-on-one races in knock-out tournaments held in the wild arenas to grant longer and spectacular matches. Players will also get to play Horde mode, both online and offline, where the “runners” will have to escape the “seekers” until the time is up.

Competition in Monster Jam Showdown™ knows no limits, especially online where the Survivor* and Treasure Hunting game modes will enable even more boundless challenges, including cross-platform**. In Survivor, only the last truck standing will be declared the winner, as victory will be achieved by crashing against and destroying opponents. Treasure Hunting will offer high-octane team matches, where the team collecting the most treasures will win. To streamline the process of joining a match, all online game modes will be organized into playlists, some featuring a single category of events and others mixing various game modes. With these, the package of 10 different game modes is complete.

Leaderboards and the Garage will put players’ achievements under the spotlight. All online matches will contribute to the overall global ranking, and separate boards dedicated to specific offline events will also be available. In the Garage, players will find their in-game stats, and, most importantly, be able to take a break and observe their truck collection.

Monster Jam Showdown will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, and PC as of August 29, 2024, with Early Access*** available from August 26, 2024.
