LAST CHANCE TO CATCH THE TIME-TRAVELLING HIT!

Following its electrifying Australian premiere in October at the Sydney Lyric, BACK TO THE FUTURE: The Musical will play its final Australian performance on 25 January 2026. Since landing in Sydney, the production has drawn rave reviews from critics and audiences alike and continues to wow theatregoers as one of the most visually spectacular musicals ever staged.

Based on the iconic 1985 blockbuster from the original creators of the film trilogy, the musical follows rock ’n’ roll teenager Marty McFly, who is accidentally transported back to 1955 in a time‑travelling DeLorean invented by the eccentric Dr Emmett Brown. Before he can return to 1985, Marty must ensure his teenage parents fall in love — or he risks being erased from existence.

The Australian company is led by Tony Award‑winner Roger Bart as Doc Brown and breakout talent Axel Duffy as Marty McFly. The stellar cast also features Ashleigh Rubenach as Lorraine Baines, Javon King as Goldie Wilson and Marvin Berry, Thomas McGuane as Biff, and Ethan Jones as George McFly.

Global Producer Colin Ingram said:
BACK TO THE FUTURE: The Musical has been a huge success throughout the world with over 4.5 million tickets sold. We are in our fifth year in the West End, sold out in Tokyo until September 2026, in our second year touring the United States, and performing every week on the largest cruise ship in the world, the Star of the Seas. With five productions playing across four continents right now, we are looking forward to opening in Germany in February 2026. After the production finishes in Sydney, the set will travel back to Europe and tour the UK, Dublin, Paris and Istanbul from September. After that, it will embark on a tour of South East Asia, the Middle East and South Africa.”

Crossroads Live Australia Chief Executive John Frost added:
“I encourage anyone who hasn’t yet experienced BACK TO THE FUTURE: The Musical to book now and see this brilliant production in Sydney before it closes in January. It really is something special.”

With final tickets now on sale, audiences are urged to book quickly to avoid missing out on the only chance to see this blockbuster musical in Australia.

Tickets are available for all remaining performances through 25 January 2026 at backtothefuturemusical.com.au.
