KYLIAN MBAPPÉ REVEALED AS EA SPORTS FC™ 27 COVER ATHLETE
Today, Electronic Arts have announced global superstar Kylian Mbappé as the cover athlete for EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Edition. The French phenom returns to the franchise cover for the first time in four years to make his debut as an EA SPORTS FC™ cover star. Mbappé will also be featured as the new cover athlete for EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile.
“To be featured on the cover of an EA SPORTS FC title for the first time is a very special moment for me,” said Kylian Mbappé. “It’s an honor to continue my long-term relationship with the franchise in its latest chapter, alongside the players who have shaped its history. I can’t wait for everyone to experience FC 27.”

Since his move to Real Madrid in 2024, Mbappé has excelled, delivering at football’s highest level. He has finished as LALIGA EA SPORTS’ top scorer in each of his two seasons in Spain, and claimed the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League Golden Boot after scoring 15 goals in the competition.
He has sustained that momentum at the international level with a series of standout performances for his country over the summer, further cementing his place among the world’s elite and earning his place on the cover of EA SPORTS FC 27.
This cover star reveal of Kylian Mbappé kicks off a week of announcements for EA SPORTS FC 27, including the gameplay trailer reveal on YouTube which will go live at 02:00 AEST (Friday July 24) / 09:00 PDT / 17:00 BST / 18:00 CEST on Thursday, July 23.
