KONAMI releases first results from online PES Virtual UEFA Champions League season, as playing numbers and official entrants continue to grow
Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. has announced the names of this month’s most successful online PES 2015 players within its official PES Virtual UEFA Champions League.
Since its release last year, PES 2015 has seen phenomenal growth in its online play within the hugely popular PES Virtual UEFA Champions League competition plays host to thousands of ardent fans. PES 2015 is the only game to feature the UEFA Champions League and KONAMI and UEFA has worked closely to create an online tournament worthy of football’s greatest club competition. Entrance to the competition is absolutely free and all users are competing to win a place in the World Finals, which will be part of this year’s UEFA Champions League Final on June 6th in Berlin. During the course of the season, players can also take part in small side events to win prizes from KONAMI’s key partners.
With the season well under way, matches peak between 15:00-22:00 GST every night, as players from across the world fight for a place in the World Finals. Australia is part of the rest of the world category. The current list of top players per region is as follows:
