KOEI TECMO celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the DYNASTY WARRIORS series

Over the weekend, KOEI TECMO and developer Omega Force kicked off celebrations for the 25th Anniversary of the beloved tactical action series, DYNASTY WARRIORS, with the launch of a dedicated 25th Anniversary website and commemorative trailer. As part of the celebrations, KOEI TECMO announced the development of a remastered version of a classic title in the series, as well as confirming the development of a large-scale DLC for DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS, available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC via Steam®.



 

Released on 17th January this year, DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS is a new and deeper interpretation of the traditional Three Kingdoms narrative, in which players take on the role of a nameless hero as they attempt to restore peace on the most realistic battlefields with the largest number of on-screen soldiers in the history of the DYNASTY WARRIORS series. Following the successful release of the game, which has sold over 1 million units worldwide, Omega Force announced the current development of a large-scale DLC to extend players’ experience and their journey through the Three Kingdoms. Further updates will be announced on the commemorative website and through official social channels.
