Klang Games Drops Cinematic SEED Trailer Featuring Björk’s “Human Behavior”

Today, Klang Games revealed a new cinematic trailer for their large-scale multiplayer society simulator SEED in The Future Games Show Spring Showcase 2026 on Thursday, March 12th.

In this always-on world, players are in control of one or more seedlings, the inhabitants of humanity’s new home, a planet called  Avesta. They guide their seedlings as part of a growing and evolving society, helping them interact with the world and each other by assigning job roles, forging relationships and building out their section of the planet. Players can create all items, including food, furniture and craftable items or buy goods from an NPC marketplace. Other than that, players won’t encounter any NPC characters in SEED; all Seedlings are controlled and managed by players (cultivators) and the world is entirely shaped by them. From the smallest chair to the most complex machinery, every item in Avesta is gathered, crafted and sold in a player-driven economy. Everything, from the hospital seedlings get treatment in to the government you vote, is player-driven.

The cinematic trailer features the song “Human Behavior” by the Icelandic artist Björk, who has always stayed at the forefront of technology and innovation, and gives a first impression into the possibilities that SEED has to offer. Björk has this to say about the collaboration on social media:

“I am so thrilled my song is in this game SEED . congratulations everyone !!! warmth , björk”

From the first steps of a new civilization to advanced societies that have determined their own laws and government, SEED offers a virtual space in which a world can grow through collaborative effort, with no limitations on the possible outcome. The stakes are real: If you don’t produce food, others don’t eat; if others don’t build shelter, you have nowhere to stay – failure to maintain a community’s production could mean the literal death of seedlings.

Seedlings have their own personalities and understand their environment contextually through deep character AI. Players can directly interact with them by using the in-game “Seedling Chat.” From convincing them to ask a crush on their date, understanding their thoughts and feelings to full conversations in the life simulation aspect of SEED. Seedlings also build relationships with other seedlings and communicate with each other even when the player isn’t guiding them. They live a whole life with real consequences.

Features:

  • 24/7 Persistent Life: Avesta never stops! Seedlings continue to work, sleep, and socialize even when players log off.
  • Player-Driven Economy & Industry: Every item in Avesta, from a simple chair to complex machinery, is gathered, crafted and sold by players.
  • Collaborative Governance: Players form shared societies and define their own laws and government structures, ranging from democracies to authoritarian dictatorships.
  • “Seedling Chat”: Players talk directly to their seedlings through the “Seedling Chat”, which is allowing them to understand their thoughts and feelings or influence their social lives.
  • Life Cycles & Inheritance: Seedlings have a life cycle, they age and die.
  • One Shared World: In SEED, everyone is sharing the same world – with the potential to become the largest simulation in gaming history.

The founders coming from Eve Online, the goal of SEED is to bring the promise of a persistent single universe to a larger audience.
