INTRODUCING OZ COMIC-CON MELBOURNE’S INCREDIBLE GUEST LINE-UP
Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre) is bringing an epic line-up of fan-favourite stars to Melbourne this year, with beloved actors and voice talent from across film, television, anime and gaming set to appear at the convention. Leading the guest line-up is Giancarlo Esposito, the acclaimed actor celebrated for his unforgettable portrayal of Gustavo “Gus” Fring in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, a role that earned him a Critics Choice Award and an Emmy Nomination. With a career spanning nearly five decades across film, television and theatre, Esposito has also become a fan-favourite for his performances as Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian and Stan Edgar in The Boys. His extensive credits include The Maze Runner franchise, Do the Right Thing, Malcolm X, Okja and Community, showcasing a career defined by powerful performances across some of the industry’s most iconic productions.
Summer Glau, an acclaimed actress best known for her role as River Tam in the cult sci-fi series Firefly and its feature film Serenity. Glau also earned praise for her performance as Cameron Phillips in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, winning a Saturn Award for the role. Across her career, she has appeared in fan-favourite series’ including The Big Bang Theory, Dollhouse, Arrow and Chuck and Castle, cementing her place as one of television’s most beloved stars.
Fans will have the chance to meet David Giuntoli and Bitsie Tulloch, the iconic on-screen duo from the hit fantasy drama Grimm. Giuntoli, known for his role as Nick Burkhardt, and Tulloch, who portrayed fan-favourite Juliette Silverton/Eve, remain beloved by audiences worldwide and are set to reunite with fans for autograph sessions, photo opportunities and exclusive panels across the weekend.
David Giuntoli has also appeared in acclaimed series including A Million Little Things, where he played Eddie Saville, as well as Superman & Lois, Private Practice, Grey’s Anatomy and Hot in Cleveland. Giuntoli has additionally lent his voice to a number of DC animated projects, including portraying Batman in Batman: Doom That Came to Gotham.
Bitsie Tulloch is beloved by fans for her role as Juliette Silverton/Eve in Grimm and currently stars as Lois Lane in the hit DC series Superman & Lois. Her extensive television credits also include The Artist, House, The West Wing, Portlandia and Quarterlife, while her voice acting work spans a range of animated and gaming projects.
Joining the line-up is British actress Georgina Leahy, best known for her role as the voice of Stella on Helluva Boss. A passionate advocate for fandom culture, Leahy brings her unique blend of acting, creativity and cosplay to the Oz Comic-Con stage.
Anime and gaming fans will also be thrilled to welcome powerhouse voice actor Chris Tergliafera, whose extensive credits include Demon Slayer, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Fire Emblem, Genshin Impact, Pokémon and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Renowned for his dynamic performances and fan interactions, Tergliafera is set to be a major drawcard for animation and gaming audiences alike.
Also joining the guest line-up is acclaimed Broadway performer and voice actor Barrett Wilbert Weed, celebrated for her standout stage roles in Mean Girls, Heathers: The Musical and Cabaret alongside being the voice of Octavia in Helluva Boss. Beloved by theatre fans around the world for her powerhouse vocals and iconic performances, Weed has also built a passionate following through her work in animation, music and pop culture spaces, making her a must-see guest for fans attending Oz Comic-Con Adelaide.
Australian actress Emilie De Ravin, known for her role as Ally in the movie Remember Me alongside Robert Pattinson and her role as Belle in Once Upon a Time, joins the Melbourne line up. Becoming a familiar face on TV, Emillie also made notable appearances in CSI: Miami and The Handler.
Luke Arnold, despite being an actor known for the role of Michael Hutchence in INXS: Never Tear Us Apart and John Silver in Black Sails, will be joining the line up as a guest author this time. He now has four novels published in the Fetch Phillip Series, and is co-writer of the Essentials with Chris “Doc” Wyatt.
