Furthermore, content creators will be able to maximise 8K resolution support with its Xe Media Engine that enables high-speed video processing. The B580 is also built on the BMG-G21 architecture with a 5nm process node (TSMC) and 19.6 billion transistors. Its core configuration includes:
- 2560 shading units
- 160 texture mapping units
- 80 render output units
- 20 ray tracing cores
- 160 tensor cores for AI tasks
Lastly, it supports Vulkan 1.3, PCIe 4.0, OpenGL 4.6, OpenCL 3.0, and DirectX 12 Ultimate, ensuring compatibility with both legacy and modern games. As for comparisons, the B580 has the RTX 4060 and RX 7600 as its competitors.
