Infants Now Available in The Sims 4!

EA and Maxis today announced that Infants – a brand new life stage – is now available in a base game update for The Sims 4 on PC via EA app, Mac® via Origin, Steam®, Epic Games Store, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One systems.

To begin enjoying all that Infants has to offer, Simmers can adopt an Infant, find their favorite WooHoo spot to let nature take its course, try a new interaction available, Science Baby, which lets Sims use genetic material to have a new baby through science, or head straight to Create-a-Sim to start customizing your Infant. Through CAS, players can create and modify their Infant through a wide range of adorable outfits, hairstyles, traits that affect the personality of an Infant and more. Players will also be able to customize their dream nursery with furniture and decor perfect for a quality night’s sleep for their Infant.

Just like in real life, Infants will begin to develop the ability to express needs, emotions and sentiments, and family members of all ages can nurture the Infant and watch as the little Sim grows. Caregivers can discover new ways of playing and caring for their Infants with the Changing Station and Infant Playmat. The more household members interact with Infants, the more attachments form through regular interactions and bonding, which is key to an Infant’s development and results in special reward traits that influence their proficiency at forming healthy relationships over their lifetime.

Simmers can also discover more depth and gameplay to Infants on March 16 through The Sims 4 Growing Together Expansion Pack which incorporates new Infant milestones, such as gaining new abilities that open up the world of social interaction and exploration for Infants. With Growing Together, 18 discoverable Infant Quirks are also available for players, and with three per Sim, each Infant is sure to be unique!
