Huawei P40 Series now available in Australia

Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) has today announced the ground-breaking HUAWEI P40 Series is now available in Australia. The series consisting of the P40 and P40 Pro feature the most professional smartphone camera system ever, courtesy of the Ultra Vision Leica Quad Camera with Huawei XD Fusion Engine, incredible zoom capabilities, overflow display, high definition selfie camera and optimised AI and performance for long-lasting battery and gaming experience.

Larking Huang, Managing Director of Huawei Consumer Business Group in Australia said, “We’re extremely excited to bring our flagship P40 series to Australia. The cutting-edge devices allow Australians to capture superior photography and videography from their smartphone. At Huawei we continue to push boundaries with our technology, and this shines through in the P40 Series with HUAWEI Golden Snap AI photography, Quad-curve overflow display and impressive chipset and performance that enables long-lasting battery and better gaming experiences.”

Best Camera in the Market

The HUAWEI P40 Series features the Ultra Vision Leica Quad camera with HUAWEI XD Fusion engine for visionary photography in all settings and surroundings. This is reinforced by the P40 Pro achieving the highest ever DxOMark rating on a smartphone with a total score of 128.

The P40 Pro device includes a 50X SuperSensing Zoom with advanced telephoto stabilisation to capture an image with the finest of details from a distance without appearing blurry. Whilst the P40 smartphone features a 30X Digital zoom and ultra-wide camera angle – perfect for those scenery and landscape images.

The flagship series utilises the latest AI photography technology engineered by Huawei. The HUAWEI Golden Snap allows the camera to identify different scenes – like seven different sports, group photos or emotions to ensure you get the best shot every time. Plus, the AI technology allows users to remove unwanted ‘photobombs’ from the backgrounds of photos and unwanted reflections.

The P40 smart phone features a high definition 32MP selfie camera with bright f/2.0 aperture and an infrared camera for professional like bokeh and low light shots.

Statement Design

The new HUAWEI Quad-Curve overflow display offering featured on the HUAWEI P40 Pro provides a full edge to edge design, no bezel experience and curved screen affect that is reminiscent of water on the cusp of overflowing.

The P40 Series will launch in one glossy glass finish –Deep Sea Blue – and an innovative refractive matte glass finish – Silver Frost.

Performance Engineered

The Kirin 990 5G is Huawei’s most advanced chipset. Benefiting from the latest innovation, HUAWEI P40 Series allows users to benefit from AI power saving technologies and more efficient hardware. The P40 Pro allows users to experience more everyday, with the AI optimised long-lasting 4200Ah battery and HUAWEI 40W SuperCharge.

Whilst, the P40 highlights HUAWEI’s SuperCool with 3D graphene for the best gaming experience.
