Hit the Race Tracks This Summer with Logitech G and Forza Motorsport for the Ultimate SIM Racing Showdown

Logitech G, a brand of Logitech and a leading innovator in gaming technology, is teaming up with McLaren Racing for the seventh consecutive year to host the official 2025 Summer Season of the Logitech McLaren G Challenge, a global racing competition built for gamers and sim enthusiasts looking to add some high-speed thrills to their summer.

“The Logitech McLaren G Challenge is the most competitive and prestigious racing series on Forza Motorsport right now,” said Daniel “SDW ForceOne” Nyman, racer and competitive gamer. “In addition to the competition, there’s a really great community component surrounding the series. If you’re a developing driver, this championship is an incredible opportunity to learn from the game’s top players.”

Whether you’re a seasoned SIM racer or just starting out in Forza Motorsport, this summer’s G Challenge is all about connection, bringing people together from living rooms to global leaderboards in the spirit of competition and pure racing fun.

We’re proud to unite sim racers from around the world in an experience that fuels connection, competition, and the future of motorsport.”

This year’s Summer Season is stacked with epic rewards, including over $50,000 in cash and product prizes, and an all-expenses-paid trip to the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, UK. Players can sign up now to enter for a chance to win a dream SIM racing setup:

Kicking off the Summer Season, Stage #1 of Qualifiers on Forza Motorsport sits drivers in the legendary McLaren MP4/4, one of the most epic and superior racing cars ever built, and takes place at Belgium’s world-famous Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, a favourite track among the most elite drivers.

In Stage #2, drivers stay behind the wheel of the McLaren MP4/4, but switch gears to Circuit Hakone, a stunning fictional track set in the serene Japanese countryside along the shores of Lake Ashi.

Stage #3 takes racers to the beloved Maple Valley track, one of the most beautiful and dynamic circuits available in the Forza franchise, blending a challenging course with incredible scenery. The Bonus Rivals Stage features the incredibly rare McLaren F1 GT, a true supercar icon, on the technical Sunset Peninsula Raceway in sunny Florida. This fast-paced circuit demands precision and pushes every racer to their limits.

Locally in Australia, the 2025 Race Days will be hosted at The Gamesmen in Penhurst, NSW – every weekend in June from 11am – 3pm. Racers will be able to put their skills to the test on Logitech’s PRO Racing Gear and the top 16 fastest drivers in the region will then qualify for the Race Day Finals.

2025 Summer Season Key Dates include:

  • Qualifying Rivals #1: May 14 – June 11
  • Qualifying Rivals #2: June 12 – July 9
  • Qualifying Rivals #3: July 10 – August 6
  • Rivals Bonus: August 7 – September 3
  • Race Days Semifinals: August 9
  • Grand Finals: August 23 – August 24
