GERRY DUGGAN & SCOTT KOBLISH’S THE GIANT KOKJÜ WILL ATTACK THIS APRIL

Despicable Deadpool duo—Gerry Duggan and Scott Koblish—reunite to give the world the giant monster attack story that Hollywood is too squeamish to provide in the upcoming, The Giant Kokjü. This three issue miniseries is sure to turn heads this April from Image Comics.

A tale of woe, The Giant Kokjü is about a monster with physical needs. It needs a restroom. It needs food, too. And, most unfortunately, it needs…sexual satisfaction. The only thing standing in its way are the men and women of science.

“I recently celebrated ten years of collaborating with Scott, and this is how I thank him,” said Duggan. “Giant Kojkü is a cornucopia of low hanging fruit, and it all works. Scott will make you laugh in one panel and bum you out the next. I never wanted to see a kaiju’s dick either but the last few years haven’t been kind. We’re making the best of it. The Giant Kokjü has it all—laughs, tears, and a beating heart…and some other body parts. Get smashed this April.”

Koblish added: “I pledged during the pandemic to start drawing comics that no one else could draw—and to spend much of my time creating things outside of the major comic mainstream. This is definitely that. People often make the pledge that you ‘have never seen what you’re about to see in a comic book ever before!’ but I can guarantee with every issue of The Giant Kokjü, Gerry and I are prepared to deliver on that promise.”

Duggan and Koblish are proudly flying their M rating flag for violence, mild gore, sexual situations, nudity, dude-ity, turds, comedy, drama, and, um, some very tasteful swearing.

The Giant Kokjü #1 will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, April 12.
