Catseye!

Outright Games continues its streak of kid-friendly adaptations with Gabby’s Dollhouse: Ready to Party, a vibrant and accessible platformer based on the hit Netflix series. Developed by Infinigon Games and available across all major consoles (we checked it out on PS5), this title is aimed squarely and the younger gamer that offers a mixture of exploration, mini-games and familiar characters.

Players step into Gabby’s shoes and explore her magical dollhouse using the Catavator, unlocking themed rooms filled with interactive surprises. Each space offers a mix of simple platforming and bite-sized activities, from painting and flying to racing and bowling. The controls are intuitive and forgiving, making it an ideal entry point for young players still mastering hand-eye coordination. A local co-op mode lets a second player join as Pandy Paws, adding a welcome layer of shared play for siblings or parents.

There’s no grind here as cat coins are plentiful and unlockables are easy to access. The game’s structure encourages exploration and creativity rather than competition, which suits its audience perfectly. However, older kids and adults may find the gameplay repetitive and the lack of narrative depth limiting. It’s a party, not a quest and that’s reflected in its light-touch design. So yes, it’s a game created for younger gamers but more importantly, it does it well as it feels like an interactive episode of Gabby’s Dollhouse.

Graphics & Audio

Visually, the game embraces a clean papercraft-inspired aesthetic that mirrors the show’s charm without relying on its live-action segments. The environments are colourful and well-defined, with enough variety to keep young minds engaged. The soundtrack is upbeat and energetic and the inclusion of original voice actors helps maintain continuity with the series.

Final Thoughts?

Gabby’s Dollhouse: Ready to Party doesn’t try to reinvent the kids genre, but it doesn’t need to. It’s a low-stress, high-charm experience that delivers exactly what it promises: a safe, joyful and engaging digital playground for young fans of Gabby and her feline friends. For families looking to introduce their little ones to gaming in a positive and age-appropriate way, this title is a solid pick.
