Funko Bitty Pop! Review: Tiny Collectibles make the perfect Easter Treat!
If there is one thing we know about the pop culture community, it’s that we have an insatiable hunger for collectibles and depending on our passion, there’s an elephant in the room when shelf space becomes a premium. However, Funko has done something brilliantly microscopic and without the shrink technology of Ant-Man (aka Hank Pym) with his Pym Particle Discs.
Cue the Funko Bitty Pops! that are tiny versions of their popular 4″ (10.16cm) collectibles that measure around 2.5cm and with Easter just around the corner, these tiny wonders are the ultimate alternative to the standard chocolate egg. They are small enough to hide inside a plastic shell and far more satisfying than a sugar crash.
While small in scale (or stature), they boast some noticeable attention to detail and like the full-size Funko Pops! they even come with a tiny case that makes displaying them a breeze. As the popularity of blind box collectibles continues to grow, Funko is adding to the fun this Easter with three themed series of mystery eggs that include Care Bears, Jurassic Park and Lilo & Stitch Eggs.
And like all good collectibles, the Bitty Pop! Care Bears, Jurassic Park and Lilo & Stitch Eggs, the collecting doesn’t stop there. There’s a cuteness overload with the Sanrio/Hello Kitty & Friends 4-packs and more mystery packs with Dragon Ball Z (see Frieza at the top of this review) and Harry Potter.
Final Thoughts?
The Funko Bitty Pop! figures are great for kids of all ages! While they are advertised for the younger crowd, the nostalgia factor makes these just as appealing for adults. So, whether you’re looking to decorate your PC desk without cluttering your mousepad or want to surprise the kids with an Easter hunt they’ll actually remember, Bitty Pops! hit the sweet spot.
Just be warned: once you start “Bitty” collecting, it’s very hard to stop at just one.
