Neo Rey, a futuristic city styled after anime universes, sets the stage for intense street battles among Screamers, fearless drivers who unleash their rivalries in the most brutal racing showdown ever. In this world, some race for glory, others for power or revenge. A mysterious tech changed racing forever: the ECHO. Thanks to it, every race is a fight, and every battle is personal and brutal. Through a trailblazing set of mechanics, players will experience the destiny of each character in no-holds-barred clashes where speed alone won’t be enough to survive.
One of Screamer’s key innovations lies in its unique vehicle handling system, which applies a Twin Stick control scheme: the left analogue stick will be used to steer, while the right stick controls drifting. This way, players will have a precise and satisfying tool to tackle corners and stay ahead of the pack. Moreover, the Boost will push each vehicle to the limits of its performance, while the strategic use of the Strike will make it possible to take out opponents by hitting them at just the right moment. And once the Overdrive kicks in, chaos will reign supreme across the streets of Neo Rey.
Only by mastering the entire ECHO system will it be possible to emerge victorious. And just like in any true battle, races in Screamer won’t be all about offense, as players will also have dedicated defensive tools to protect themselves from their rivals, with more details to be revealed soon.
By combining innovative vehicle handling, fighting mechanics, and a rich storyline, Screamer will deliver an unconventional arcade experience able to blend strategy and emotional intensity from the first to the last turn. Scheduled for release in 2026, Screamer will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
