Final Fantasy XIV Patch 3.1 Out Now + Trailer

SYDNEY, 11th November 2015Square Enix Ltd., today releases its FINAL FANTASY® XIV: Heavensward™ content update Patch 3.1 – As Goes Light, So Goes Darkness. The update offers new and exciting additions to the highly acclaimed Heavensward expansion, and continues the main scenario, following the nation of Ishgard In the wake of the Warrior of Light’s return from Azys Lla.

Following rumours among the sky pirates, adventurers will battle on a haunted vessel in the brand new 24-player alliance raid “Void Ark”, and travel to far-off islands via airship in new exploratory missions to unearth rare gear and items.

The launch of Patch 3.1 – As Goes Light, So Goes Darkness also introduces an all-new real-time strategy (“RTS”) attraction, “Lord of Verminion,” at the Manderville Gold Saucer. There, players will be able to use their minions to battle against other players in a 1v1 setting. The patch also includes two new high-level dungeons, Saint Mocianne’s Arboretum and Pharos Sirius (Hard), Vanu Vanu beast tribe quests, new side story quests and much more. In addition, SQUARE ENIX also announced a FINAL FANTASY XI in-game event, scheduled to begin on 11th November to 31st December. In celebration of the final chapter to the Rhapsodies of Vana’diel storyline in FINAL FANTASY XI, which also released today, Iroha, the star of the recent Rhapsodies of Vana’diel storyline, will be visiting FINAL FANTASY XIV in a special collaboration event. Adventurers will be able to participate in event quests to obtain exclusive in-game items, including Iroha’s outfit.
