Fallout 76’s Uninvited Guests Shares Do‑Not‑Admit List
Planning a gathering in the Wasteland? Hoping your Public Event will be a laid‑back affair full of loot, laughter, and maybe only mild radiation poisoning? Too bad! Because Appalachia has surprises and several very large, very angry individuals have decided they’re inviting themselves.
In Fallout 76’s next update, The Backwoods, select Public Events may now conclude with an unexpected bang, or multi-headed roar. Introducing Uninvited Guests: a lineup of Legendary enemies that can randomly appear unannounced to turn victory laps into last-stand showdowns. Headlining the chaos is Bigfoot, making its first appearance in Fallout 76 as a unique 4-star Legendary cryptid with exclusive reward opportunities.
To help you be aware before you start planning your event, we’ve compiled an official Guest List of Who Absolutely Should Not Be Let into the Venue. Keep this handy, and remember: if they show up anyway, blame whoever has the worst luck…
Bigfoot
Extremely not house-trained. Refuse admission.
Bigfoot is an elusive cryptid native to the forested regions in North America. Making his debut as a unique 4‑star Legendary enemy, this foe is designed to provide one of the most challenging cryptids in the game. Towering over players with tree‑trunk‑level strength, Bigfoot supplements its physical power with aggressive environmental pressure, including the ability to shed large ticks to hurl at players during the fight. Defeating him rewards exclusive loot, making each rare appearance as high‑stakes as it is high‑impact.
Scorchbeast
If it flaps, shrieks, and ruins the roof, deny entry.
The Scorchbeast, Appalachia’s airborne menace continues to be a plague on the region with sonic blasts, irradiated volleys, and rapid aerial manoeuvring that forces squads to stay mobile. Its sudden addition as an Uninvited Guest adds an intense vertical dimension to end‑of‑event combat, with its signature shrieks sure to scatter guests.
Deathclaw Matriarch
Graceful? No. Efficient? Absolutely. Invited? Never
Built to punish hesitation with lunges, heavy slashes, and wide swipes, The Deathclaw Matriarch serves as one of the Wasteland’s most feared melee threats. Her heavy slashes, lunges, and large‑radius swipes make her difficult to evade. Once she enters a Public Event as an Uninvited Guest, players must quickly adapt or risk being instantly taken down by her relentless advance.
Wendigo Colossus
Deny entry to anyone who arrives with multiple heads.
The presence of the Wendigo Colossus at the end of a Public Event is sure to dramatically change its tone, forcing teams to manage both its oppressive fear effects and its powerful attacks. Psychologically and physically overwhelming, its multi‑headed screams can debuff and panic nearby players while delivering heavy damage through crushing melee strikes and area‑control shockwaves. This guy is a real party pooper.
Mirelurk Queen
Will attempt to take over the hosting; do not let in.
The Mirelurk Queen commands the battlefield with acidic ranged attacks, sweeping melee, and rapid hatchling waves. Making use of her immense size and thick armour plating this Queen will turn the end of a Public Event into a chaotic fight for space and survival as she aggressively asserts territory over the encounter area.
Storm Goliath
Refuse admission if the guest is generating their own cumulonimbus cloud
Venturing out of Skyline Valley, the Storm Goliath electrifies encounters with hazard fields, thunderous ground impacts, and ranged lightning that punish both players who linger too close or stay out too far. Its mobility and environmental manipulation make it a dynamic and unpredictable Uninvited Guest, turning the battlefield into a storm‑ridden arena that demands constant movement and attention to shifting danger zones.
Coverage note: Uninvited Guests are not guaranteed at every Public Event; frequency, eligible events, and rewards are subject to change and will be detailed in update notes.
