Summary: This is meant to be a story but I still feel like you need prior knowledge of the characters in their previous adventures to get what is going on.

Strange

In this story we meet the symbiote Agony one of the five offspring of Venom who is working with a group called the Life Foundation to go up against Carnage. Gemma is the deputy communications director of Senator Krane and also the host for Agony unknown to her workmates. There is something big going down at the speech coming up in a few days and the other symbiotes are trying to work out who the target is.

Even though this is a new story it feels like you need to at least know something about Carnage and Venom to get what it is going on. Why are these people trying to stop an assassination? Why is there an anti-alien campaign? There are flying beasties in the street and no one seems to mention them?

There is interesting artworks and characters in this and I liked Agony giving snark to the muggers before she ate them.

If you are a fan of Venom and Carnage and know what is going on in that wider story I would recommend this one, everyone else maybe sit this one out unless you are prepared to go back and find out what is going on.
