Everything announced at PlayStation’s State Of Play!

Another PlayStation State of Play broadcast has wrapped with some epic reveals, from Concord, God of War Ragnarök coming to PC, Silent Hill 2, Astro Bot and more. See below for a round-up of the biggest announcements:

Firewalk shares the first in-depth look at the gameplay, universe, and characters of Concord.

Today, as part of State of Play, we got a first look at the gameplay, universe, and characters of Concord, as well as how and when you’ll be able to get your hands on the game – starting with a beta in July, followed by Concord’s global launch on PS5 and PC on August 23, 2024.

Concord is a 5v5 character-driven, first-person multiplayer shooter set in the Concord galaxy. At launch, Concord will have a roster of 16 distinct Freegunners to learn and master, and the Northstar crew will grow over time through regular, free post-launch updates that introduce new playable Freegunners, maps, modes, cinematic vignettes, and more.

Astro Bot arrives on PS5 September 6

Since making an appearance at the launch of PlayStation 5, Astro has introduced many players to the magic of PlayStation. The title received a ton of heart-warming comments about how much fun the game was, how it utilised the DualSense wireless controller in fun ways and how it paid tribute to 25 years of PlayStation history.

Those comments were heard, and Astro is back in a super-sized space adventure – his biggest to date! In this brand-new game, players will explore 6 galaxies and over 80 levels in search of Astro’s scattered crew. Hold on tight to your Dual Speeder and dive down to each unique planet, from lush forests, sandy beaches, hot volcanoes to more surprising locations such as a gigantic hourglass or the canopy of a singing tree!

God of War Ragnarök is coming to PC 

God of War Ragnarök will be coming to PC on September 20, 2024!

Santa Monica Studio’s development partner for God of War (2018) on PC, Jetpack Interactive, is back to help deliver the PC version of God of War Ragnarök. Alongside the release date, you can check out a selection of the features that will be available here.

Until Dawn

Dynasty Warriors: Origins revealed for PS5, out 2025  

1 vs. 1,000 action is reborn as Omega Force ushers in a new era of tactical hack and slash action. Dynasty Warriors: Origins unleashes the largest armies ever seen in the series while also introducing a new hero to the exhilarating 1 vs. 1,000 action that made the franchise famous.

Stay tuned for more information in the coming months as we reveal more about our new nameless hero and his fight for the Three Kingdoms before Dynasty Warriors: Origins is released in 2025.

Infinity Nikki, an open-world dress-up adventure, is coming to PS5

Developed by Infold Games, the Nikki series is a collection of dress-up games that’s evolved over the course of 12 years. In this fifth installment, Infinity Nikki, Infold merge dress-up gameplay with the open-world genre, allowing Nikki to explore by using the special abilities of different outfits in a warm, delightful world. This can enrich players’ gaming experience and spice up their life.

A PS5 beta for Infinity Nikki is due later this year.

Ballad of Antara is a world-bending action-RPG coming to PS5 in 2025

Ballad of Antara is an action-RPG with multiple playable characters, called “Emissaries”. These characters possess the power to traverse the two worlds of normalcy and unimaginable. Each Emissary has their own unique class, gameplay capabilities, and their own enticing, mysterious stories.

Skydance’s Behemoth gameplay revealed, launches on PS VR2 Fall 2024

First look at Alien: Rogue Incursion PS VR2 gameplay, out Holiday 2024 

Take the fight to the Perfect Organism later this year in an original single-player story set in the Alien universe. The first next-gen Alien VR game, Alien: Rogue Incursion is a single-player, action-horror game featuring an all-new storyline. A high tension shooter developed with Unreal Engine 5, players will need to stay frosty as they explore an overrun facility on the inhospitable planet Purdan.

Marvel Rivals is coming to PS5: Venom and Adam Warlock revealed, Closed Beta test announced for July

Today, Sony Interactive Entertainment is thrilled to confirm Marvel Rivals is coming to PS5 with a brand-new trailer, which reveals another two characters joining the roster day one: Venom and Adam Warlock. The Closed Beta Test will be rolling out on PS5 in July, so get your controllers ready!

Where Winds Meet brings superhuman, open-world martial arts adventure to PS5

From Everstone Studio comes Where Winds Meet, an epic Wuxia open-world action-adventure RPG game. Wuxia is a genre of fiction and cinema featuring warriors from ancient China often shown using superhuman martial arts feats – think Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon or House of The Flying Daggers. Then, think of you, as a young swordsman or swordswoman, getting the chance to master these amazing Chinese martial arts, to enhance your combat prowess or, more intriguingly – to solve puzzles and traverse our vast landscape.

Path of Exile 2 is coming to PS5, couch co-op and cross-play confirmed

Path of Exile 2, the next generation free-to-play action RPG from Grinding Gear Games, will be coming to PlayStation 5, and now with a great new feature – couch co-op. Players can play collaboratively on a single account, or log in with two separate Path of Exile accounts on the same console.

In addition, Path of Exile 2 is introducing full cross-play and cross-progression. Play with your friends without losing any progress!

Today during State of Play, we revealed some exciting new information for Monster Hunter Wilds. Beyond the new trailer itself, the team introduced some of the monsters, characters, and shared some info about the hunter’s new mount.
